Kate Pickworth is the Chief Operating Officer of growth[period]. As COO, Ms. Pickworth manages the day-to-day activities of growth[period] and is responsible for the strategic, tactical, and short-term operations management of the firm.
She has a keen strategic mind and a long history of assessing and improving upon the operations, policies and procedures of the organizations for which she has served, both in the US and Australia.
In 2003, I met this beautiful, smart, funny, sassy young woman named Lindsay White. I knew this wonderful person when she met and married her amazing husband, Mike. They brought a truly remarkable little girl, Kate, into this world on June 5, 2011, which made two of the most loving people I know so very happy.
Kate was a gift, a rare and extraordinary gift. She is, and always will be as beautiful, as smart, as sassy, as funny, as amazing as her momma. This little gift of joy, touched the hearts of so many people, and I was blessed enough to be one of them. I am so very grateful that this sweet child would sit in my lap and take selfies with me, that I witnessed her lovable personality, and the sweet joy of this little person who had so much to offer this world.
On January 12, 2016, Kate went to be with the angels and left a hole in the hearts of so many who care so much for this remarkably strong family. No one should have to experience the heart wrenching reality of losing a child.
I am truly humbled and honored to have been asked to be on the advisory board for Kate’s Cause – Until Childhood Cancer is Extinct! We will make Kate proud, she deserved more than 4 years, 7 months, and 7 days. She deserved more than 4%! We will make her proud!
