Jessica Frye was an artist from a very young age, always exhibiting talent well beyond her years. In fact, she designed her first invitation for her Aunt’s wine & cheese party when she was just 7 years old.
She pursued her passion, earning her BFA in Illustration & Design from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA in 2002. She continued there to earn her Masters in Art Education in 2003. Jessica went on to work for her alma-mater as a Graphic Designer, ultimately being promoted to Art Director. She was the sole designer for all of UARTS recruitment, marketing and development materials. After 8 years, she left UARTS to pursue her next job, mommy-hood. Now 3 kids later, she is a dedicated stay-at-home mom. In her “spare” time, Jessica freelances and is very active in her local civic association. She is a board member and also chairs the Events Committee. Kate’s story opened her eyes to the lack of funding and the outdated treatments for pediatric cancer. It’s unacceptable and it’s not okay. Jessica has been honored to help with the branding of Kate’s Cause and to help raise awareness for a cause that has become so very close to her heart. |
